32, is the total number of small businesses “getting online” since The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce started Go digital! this past September. With 2015 around the corner, I am happy to announce that next year, the Go digital! Team, which I am proud to be part of, will team up with Google to “enroll at least 100 small businesses in the program.”
Via Crain’s New York Business.
For my teammates and I, the announcement of Google’s commitment to the program is like a Christmas present, a reward for our effort and dedication to get this project up and running.
I could tell you a lot about the businesses I have been helping so far but it would take too long: from neigborhoods like Crown Heights or Carroll Garden to businesses like Florists, Clothing stores, Doctor’s offices, Beauty Salon or Restaurants… Each story is unique.
What I can tell you is that Go digital! is not only about economic development and social media, it also is about community and education. My hopes for 2015 are for this project to keep on growing and helping many businesses owners.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
